Terms & Conditions for 405 Garage Pros

By requesting service, booking an appointment, or allowing work to begin, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1) Acceptance of Terms

These Terms apply to all services provided by 405 Garage Pros (“we,” “us,” “our”) to you (“customer,” “you”), whether scheduled by phone, text, email, online booking, or in-person.

  • You confirm you are authorized to approve work at the service address.
  • You agree to provide safe access to the garage door, opener, and electrical outlets (if needed).
  • You agree that verbal, text, or written approvals may authorize work and charges.
2) Services We Provide

We provide garage door and garage door opener services including (but not limited to) diagnostics, repairs, part replacements, adjustments, lubrication, installations, and safety checks.

Important: Some conditions require additional parts or labor once the system is inspected on-site (examples: worn cables, bent tracks, damaged panels, cracked hinges, unsafe spring setup, or opener issues).
3) Scheduling, Arrival Windows & Access
  • Appointments may be scheduled with an estimated arrival window, not an exact time.
  • Traffic, weather, prior jobs, and parts runs can affect arrival times.
  • If we arrive and cannot access the door/system, a trip/service fee may apply.
  • You agree to secure pets and provide a safe work area.
4) Estimates, Pricing & Payments

Any price ranges discussed before arriving are preliminary and based on typical scenarios. Final pricing may change after inspection, diagnosis, and confirmation of parts needed.

  • We will explain recommended repairs and pricing before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.
  • Payment is due at completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Returned payments, chargebacks, or failed transactions may result in additional fees and collection efforts.
  • Installed parts remain our property until paid in full (where allowed by law).
5) Customer Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate information about symptoms, door size/type, and opener model when possible.
  • Disclose known issues such as prior damage, DIY changes, or unsafe modifications.
  • Maintain a safe environment (clear vehicles/objects, stable power, safe ladder access if applicable).
6) Warranty & Limitations

Warranty coverage (if any) depends on the part/service provided and the condition of the overall system. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, acts of nature, lack of maintenance, or pre-existing structural issues.

  • We may decline warranty claims if the system was altered after service.
  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic issues, and unrelated failures are not covered.
  • Safety-related adjustments may be required to keep your door operating safely.
7) Liability & Risk Acknowledgement

Garage doors and torsion/extension spring systems are under high tension and can be dangerous. By requesting service, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow our safety instructions.

  • We are not responsible for hidden defects, prior damage, or pre-existing unsafe installations.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (where permitted by law).
  • If a door is unsafe to operate, we may recommend stopping use until repaired.
8) Parts Availability & Substitutions

Parts availability may vary. If an exact part is unavailable, we may offer an equivalent option that meets performance/safety needs. Any substitution will be explained before installation when reasonably possible.

9) Cancellations, Reschedules & No-Shows
  • Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
  • No-shows or last-minute cancellations may be subject to a trip/service fee.
  • If weather or unsafe conditions prevent service, we may reschedule for safety.
10) Photos, Documentation & Communication

We may take photos or notes of the door/opener system for documentation, warranty support, and quality control. We may communicate via phone, text, or email about scheduling and service updates.

11) Website Use

If you use our website, you agree not to misuse or disrupt it. Content is provided “as-is” and may be updated at any time.

12) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
